Tyr Aquatic Resistance Gloves

I have worn a pair of Speedo gloves for years, but finally the velcro has lost its strength, allowing the gloves to slip and move while swimming laps. The new TYR gloves are much lighter weight, easier to slip into, velcro is strong, and the closure tab is on the opposite side of the glove (comparing with the Speedo swim glove), which at least theory means the force of the hand in the water is not so apt to place pressure against the velcro tab closure; time will tell.

I used to purchase TYR aqua fitness gloves for more than a decade. Bought lots of then over the years because it was a great product. For some unknown reason, TYR changed the product so it is now more like a golf glove and the quality is poor as well. Ridiculous design for swimming. I returned them to Swim 2000 and will now look for a different brand.

My former TYR gloves fastened on the inside of the wrist; the new ones fasten (& not well) on the outside of the hand, which is awkward.
Resistance gloves work great!
