Size is consistent, I had the same suit prior to this purchase, and by rinsing the chlorine out after classes, it has lasted a long time.

I am an hourglass shape and just barely on the measurement scale (bust/hips) on this. Thought I should have gone to a 16 instead of 18 but the 18 is a bit large in the middle so probably should have sized down instead...just FYI
