Louis Garneau
Founded by Louis Garneau in his father's garage in 1983, Garneau is an apparel and accessories company headquartered in Canada. As a competitive cyclist himself with 13 years experience racing worldwide, Garneau originally brought cycling apparel to the Canadian market. After just five years in business, Garneau grew from a garage operation to employing almost 120 people in a 32,000 square foot building and from local distribution to national sales. The company has also added a wide variety of products to their arsenal, including accessories like bags, belts, gloves, shoes, snowshoes, poles, and most notably, helmets.
Guided by the idea that Garneau is a group of pioneers who can innovate and redefine the industry, the company was also the first to introduce ventilated apparel for increased comfort and a competitive edge for riders worldwide. Garneau products are both used and endorsed by athletes, celebrities, and recreational riders internationally and the company has sponsored numerous professional teams and athletes for more than ten years.
